hi there,

I have a windows 10 laptop that's having a few issues. I'm wanting to reset it to factory to see if that fixes it but I can't for the life of me find my office 2007 disc to reinstall it after / product key...

does anyone know of a legit link to download it from and find my product key from windows before i reset it?

THANKS

Office 2007 ? I'd seriously just pay a few $$ for a newer version.

Use a program like Produkey or EaseUS Key Finder which will list all your Product Keys.

Pretty sure 07 activation bit the dust a few years ago.

2007 was the last version to not require activation - not for Enterprise edition at least ;)

As for key finder tools - Nirsoft is another safe one - https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

2016 pro plus is $39

Look for the cheapest price for office 2021 home and business (if you need outlook) or office 2021 home and student if you don't.

I recently purchased a Lifetime license for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 for just US$40 from TechSpot.

Apparently a genuine Microsoft partner.

I'm sure the deal will resurface

Their current offer is Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 for US$40. Lifetime license.

One of the things I always tell people is to Register/Open a Microsoft account whenever they install or start up a new computer .... most of the Prod Key and Activation info gets saved there, and re-installing is a breeze should a hardware/software failure happen.

Pretty sure you can phone activate them. I tried to phone activate office 2010 recently and it said there was no phone number now to call anymore as they had ceased providing support to 2010. But I found a number on my phone that I had previously used and it worked.
