The more liquid in the bottle, the fizzier it will remain (pretty much like anything carbonated). Once opened, they lose fizz.

 

We drink a lot of soda and will generally use the whole bottle once we've carbonated it, so we don't keep it till the next day.

We have had one for years, use it every day for fizzy water. Occasionally mix in syrups for Evening Drinkies!" (we use Barkers syrups)

 

Have upgraded to latest model last year - 60L gas cylinder that lasts for a few months.

 

Don't forget - it's way better for the environment - no cans or plastic bottles (Though hopefully recycled) and good quality syrups are (slightly) better for you health wise.
