Anyone know what's the deal with the owners of Grab One - Global Marketplace?

Seems like it's an Australian firm but it opened up a Global Marketplace NZ to run their (Grab One) operations here. Their Australian arm still seems to be operating?

Latest update from them:

GrabOne is under new Kiwi ownership, and we’re committed to loving local, putting you first. Every GrabOne deal you buy is protected.

When you buy a deal, the actual money you paid is now protected for up to three years. Even if the GrabOne partners' specific promotional offer expires, you keep the original amount you paid as either GrabOne account credit or a redeemable value with the GrabOne partner.

So one way or the other, you don't get your money back....hmmmm

Yeah interesting. The diagram says "original amount paid" as still redeemable. While it covers expired deals, the issue came about when the last owners went under an any unused vouchers that had not expired became unredeemable.
