I always remembered the short-lived Automan, which I assume was made to capitalise on the sfx used in Tron.

I mostly watched British tv, still a fan of UFO and Space 1999 and the American Battlestar Galactica.

i’m a wonder woman fan, so still watch the Lynda Carter series - there was I might admit a short phase of wanting to be like Agent 99 in the US series Get Smart.

i did like Hannah barbera cartoons mainly for how they were made.

i do remember John pertwee in worzel gummage, along with aunt sally, along with I think mentioned, Saphire and Steel

Both "UFO" and "Colditz" were great series, and many episodes from each are available on YouTube...  Oh! ... "One Summer" and "Harry's Game" were also good

From New Zealand... "Space Knights"

International... "Sledge Hammer" isn't widely known (even though I'm pretty sure someone uses Sledge Hammer on his Geekzone profile), "Jennifer Slept Here" and "Heil Honey I'm Home".

Still entertaining today? Definitely true for Sledge, I re-watched that recently.

Sorry to burst this little Mandela effect bubble for you but it was Master Mate and Tom the Cabin boy, as per Wikipedia. Even though I definitely also remember those names you cited :D

Yes - I know. My post was TIC - those names are an urban myth and became the source of litigation in the UK when the makers told a newspaper to cease and desist using them but it went on.
