Sad that we've lost the elegance to just say
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. [Mark Twain]
Chuck will be back in a week, having killed death.
Mike
I wasn't aware of much of what he did or said - as it probably should be with many of these people.
I saw him in the odd thing here and there, most recently in one of Stallone's ensemble action things with a bunch of action stars in Turmenstagan, fighting evil dictators.
I will remember him mostly from memes and the ads for the Total Gym.
RIP Chuck Totalgym Norris.

I was never a huge Chuck Norris fan, can't think of hardly any of his movies/shows I saw off the top of my head (Walker Texas Ranger is the only one that comes to mind, and I never watched it) but having learned his political beliefs - something I wasn't aware of previously - I'm even less inclined to have any interest in his work now. With that in mind, I do remember him being featured in a lot of memes while he was still alive (like on the previous page), some of which were quite amusing.

Mediocre actor and less than mediocre person.
@nunasdream Someone has passed away a famous actor and this is all you have to say!!
Did you personally know him as a person?
I don't understand why someone dying automatically clears their shitty values and makes them saints.
It's like a podcaster being shot, and a whole movement starts to make out like he was the greatest philosopher of our time, and people condemning others for seeing him for what he really was, and some people being fired from their jobs for having an opinion on that person.
You should never say bad things about the dead, you should only say good.
Chuck Norris is dead. Good.
(borrowed from Bette Davis).
