I’m a big fan of short haired dogs after having had some prolifically shedding German shepherds but even my lab sheds an incredible amount. Any dog I get (if I get another) will have to be low maintenance in the coat department. My lab is self cleaning.

Self cleaning lab coats, now there's an idea.

If you're looking for a short haired dog right now, there are plenty of Greyhounds looking for a home.   We're thinking about adopting a couple.  They apparently sleep about 16 hours per day, so easy dogs for working people.
