There's the knock off ones at Kmart.

I bought the lemon one of those and it broke on a firmish lemon.

I've since bought the original brand.

Stu:

Oh that sort of lemon squeezer. Not one of these...

And when Himself ever mentions squeezing lemons, he is not talking about citrus or army hats.

He has an almost endless repertoire of toilet humour.

I use this one the most—even though we own others, including a kitchen appliance attachment. It is also excellent for limes, which I process almost even more frequently.

Saw the copy at Kmart today. It looks identical in all aspects and is even about the same weight. I hope my original doesn’t break like MikeAqua's copy did.

I don’t think it will. I read an article on the Kmart vs original with side by side photos and the design was very slightly different. Probably just can’t tell without the side by side.

to be fair I was probably squeezing it too hard, frustrated at trying to get juice out of a bad supermarket lemon.  I have history of breaking stuff by applying too much force.

That said, I've squeezed the authentic product very hard juicing oranges, at my dad's place and it held so ....

Just squeezed one today and it was so easy and no juice left. I think those hard thick skinned lemons with little juice would be a strain on it, so Mr E will still be valued for a squeeze. The ordinary Meyers are perfect.

Good to know there is some difference between the cheaper and original.
