kaboom: what's a good bar to pick up chicks in Auckland CBD on a Friday night ?? :)

Just be careful there Flava Flav, or you'll end up picking up more than just chicks.

Good thing he didn't go to Hamilton then

kaboom: ok so heres the story, went down to show girls and it was kinda disappointing . just usual stuff so we took off and hovered around via duct till about 11.30pm. nothin too exciting at the viaduct either apart from some decent bars.

got told by a fella in one of the bars that we should head off to the Whitehouse, and we did. Its a must go to place for Friday nights !!! the atmosphere was electric and the shows were owesome.

all my friends said even for Sydney's standards this place was above average :)

ta.
surely going to a strip joint and actually paying real hard cold cash to merely look at women defeats the whole purpose of going out on friday night?!

did you try to TALK to any women in the viaduct? you should have stuck around there a lot later than merely 11pm, or have carried on at fort lane or high st etc...

I went to hamilton for a night out a week ago

I discovered that simply wearing a collar on your shirt makes you stand out in hamilton, as the hamilton guys believe putting on a t-shirt (that is maybe clean) is "dressing up" for a night in town  Surprised

what really SHOCKED me was when I was talking with this girl who was wearing jandals, and I found out she put them on for town

as in she didn't just happen by chance to be wearing them (like had been at the beach all day and went straight to drinks in town afterwards)

even WORSE, she ONLY wore these jandals for town. like they are her special "dressing up jandals" (What an oxymoron)

there was nothing unique about them either, just normal flip flops

Oh gawd, Hamiltron.

I played one gig there.... the longest few hours of my life.

It was a daytime music store appearance, but we got there to find out there were FIVE bands and we were the headliner... cool... I had about 5/6 hours to kill in Hamilton, so I just sat in the city centre. Sitting. Doing nothing... watching the cars troll up and down the main drag, yelling all manner of trash out the windows at us "out of towners".

I actually suggested we cancel the gig altogether because the entire audience consisted of about 8 bourbon-cola premix swilling bogans standing outside the store. Most pointless gig I've ever played.

I feel like having a shower just thinking of the place.

Having said that, I've seen the same sort of trash up and down the country - just some places have higher concentrations of them.

Haha, the city, wait, the town of roads.

Although, the Botanic Gardens is a really nice place.
