what's a good bar to pick up chicks in Auckland CBD on a Friday night ?? :) got some friends coming up from Sydney and being a geek i havent got a clue where to take them !!!

I'd recommend Pony but good luck getting in if you are a big group of guys. Go earlyish, take some arm candy if you rustle them up. Don't all try to get in at once.

ok so heres the story, went down to show girls and it was kinda disappointing . just usual stuff so we took off and hovered around via duct till about 11.30pm. nothin too exciting at the viaduct either apart from some decent bars.

got told by a fella in one of the bars that we should head off to the Whitehouse, and we did. Its a must go to place for Friday nights !!! the atmosphere was electric and the shows were owesome.

all my friends said even for Sydney's standards this place was above average :)

Since when have you been able to "pick up chicks" at a strippy? This is possibly the least possible place to do so! (we are talking about picking up and not paying up right?).

If they like rock/indie http://www.cassettenine.com/ where Voodoo Lounge used to be on Vulcan Lane is becoming pretty popular.

Otherwise just hit the Viaduct there's like a dozen bars to hit in a relatively small area (Provador, Lenin. Float, etc etc etc).

Ha ha. Life is a funny thing. My other half doesn't give a toss if I go to these places. But I only go on special occasions (stag dos etc) as they do my head in. High priced drinks, girls only interested in you if you flip them a few bucks etc. Yet a mate of mine couldn't stop going to them and it ended his relationship...
