nope -both mine are running at 1920*1200 and 1920*1080
dropped the monitor down to 1280*800 - still 5.9

you could always try turning off write caching for the hard drive.  that supposedly boosts the WEI score.

I have an Intel SSD and that got 7.9...

It seems my HP laptop with an Intel Centrino2 is not that bad - 5.5 while some here with higher end CPUs get pushed down by their HDDs.

TRIM is implemented with Windows 7 already.

Yeah saw that one.

Basically if the drive doesn't support TRIM, which afaik none of the current batch do, then it just ignores the TRIM command.

i wonder what the Pliant SSD's with 180,000 IOPS and 500MB/sec sustained transfer rates would score then :)

(i also wonder what they are going to cost)
