graemeh: So Sam, tell me something.

How do you get to Level 2 NCEA without learning about a quaint old thing called "paragraphs".

Your longer posts are incredibly hard to read due to a total lack of any paragraphs.

Probably by ignoring pedantic and patronising posts such as yours!  And, no offence, but since we are on the subject of sentence construction did no one ever tell you it is not the done thing to start every sentence with 'I'?

Quote: "I am in Wellington.

I'll check out the "home ideas centre here". I also plan to visit the electrical wholesalers. I don't expect most of them will be able to give sensible answers but at least I can find out what products they have and go do some research.

I'll also have a better look through geekzone to see if I can find any threads on this. I couldn't find them today but it doesn't mean they are not there!"

Well you clearly know nothing about the NCEA system.

I can easily achieve level 2 without the need for any literacy credits, and I wouldn't need to learn paragraph structuring. But fortunately I plan on going to uni, so I did bother to learn how to write essays and use paragraphs thank you very muchly.

So unless you're my English teacher, get lost and go troll some other forums Mr. Grammar Nazi.

graemeh: Good luck with getting a job. Don't let the retards get you down.

If they were that smart they would be here and not hanging out on the TM message boards :D

haha probably some truth in that.  TM MB are just terrible, its not the place to go to have a friendly chat.  Its become groups backing groups (TM gangsters) with the lost ones or your not cool enough in between. Oh and the national backers versus the Labor backers just goes on and on and on.

example theirs a Labor supporter in Opinions who gets the mud fling at him left, right and centre by the National voters nastiest to extreme hes a single dad so they call him a loser, get a job you bludger, put his son down, tell him hes not a good dad being on the boards alot even though they too are on the boards like him!

Yet the guy is very intelligent as in what he posts and a master in politics damn knows everything, I learnt quite a bit about politics just reading his posts on a weekly basis, but heres what gets up the National backers noses - even though the mud is being thrown at him he never retaliates back never gets nasty he just ignores their posts and keeps on posting. A poster once put down his mother who was sick he/she said that shes probably sick cause she gave birth to you, you retard. Now something like that would of made me hit the roof and want to kill him. lol But this guy just ignored and kept on posting.

TM should make that man a Moderator.

I'm not even a labor supporter but i have a lot of respect for him.
