So....I have a .co domain, have set up google aps, have short urls set up (mail.domain.co), have my calendar, address book & mail all syncing with my mac (but only mail on my N85, it doesn't support active sync I just found out :-( ). It took me about 4 hours, but I've never done this before so I'm happy with anything less than a week.
I had a small amount of trouble setting up CNAME records, but I think it was because I was impatient and didn't realise it took a while to get up and running.
I didn't quite understand their wording during the registration process, so it's now got Mr. as the organisation for the registrant contact hehe.
Why a .co domain? Because some mongrels from distant branches of the family have already taken the .co.nz and .com variants of my surname and instead of thinking up a variation of it I thought an extra $20ish is pretty cheap to get what I want.
Maybe I haven't explained correctly. I have the email address nick@domain.co, but I set up a subdomain (word just sprang into my head now, I forgot what it was called when I posted before) for when I am away from my mac at Uni etc.to get me to the webmail side of things on google aps.
