Argh!

Got my laptop back today... least to say i'm not impressed.

First they replaced the laptop hard disk with WDC's Scorpio 5400RPM 8MB 60GB hdd (though when I queried them they said it is Samsung)... I can forgive them weeeee bit for WDC, at least WDC is good. HOWEVER i'm not satisfied... the previous hard disk that came installed with the laptop was Toshiba 60GB 5400RPM with 16MB buffer! So my replacement is somewhat "less performing" than my old kaput one....

I distinctively told the guy that i am expecting them to replace the similar build/model and no less, and the guy assured me that will be the case. And of course, the replacement did not turn out what he assured me of... not good..

I'll keep barking at them, and may even go as far as avoiding making big electronic purchase from H&N.... i just have no faith with their extended warranty services anymore....

chiefie: ...i guess i will have to take this in to Harvey Norman to get it fixed! good thing with Extended Warranty, with few months to go before my lease/warranty ends...

I would have thought that if you are taking something back to be replaced (while under warranty) that you should get the exact same part or failing that, something better?! Not price-wise but specification wise... Am I wrong?...poor show by Harvey Norman I reckon. Keep at their throats Chiefie

Hey Labour and Greens!... Your parties suck! You´ve got too many clowns and not enough ice cream!!
