The only outstanding order I have left with DX is one I placed in October 2011.

They agreed in mid February that it had probably been lost and would send another, and that was sent on 22 Fed but obviously hasn't arrived yet.

I find aliexpress to be MUCH better... It's just a site aggregator, and shipping isn't free on everything - but so far I have had a much better experience with vendors there.

Cheers - N

I'm the opposite to these posts,
Currently have multiple orders in process with them, all from mid jan onwards (which is the busiest time for them )

90% has been shipped and received successfully

I paid for faster shipping, they refunded it and gave me free fast EMS shipping for my larger order (over $350) and have had several parcels received that way

I had one issue which was nz post who "lost" the package at the local office for a week. It reported "delivery delayed" to a business Address that has the courier drop off mail every day

Like skewt I've also had recent good dealings with DX. All my previous orders (late last year) arrived in timely fashion, and my order from two days ago has already been sent so I'm not expecting any issues (hopefully). Several of my work colleagues use DX regularly and won't shut up about how great it is (than again they are the sort to order pink iPhone cases and sparkly pens).

I'd dread to think of what might happen should an issue arise though. The joy of drop shipping I suppose.

Did anyone else just get an out-of-the-blue email from DX with a "What happened to your orders?" link?

I haven't ordered anything from them since before Christmas and don't have anything outstanding so not sure why I received it. The link was to: http://blog.dealextreme.com/what-happened-to-your-orders/?utm_source=dx&utm_medium=edm&utm_campaign=20120227&r=90000324

The last order I got did take a while but it wasn't anything too excessive (<1month), IIRC they got it all right.

Edit: They've also just posted this: http://blog.dealextreme.com/you-are-most-precious/

So at least they're _aware_ of the problem.

Yeah I got it, but I have just made 2 orders. Mr Biddle got it as well but he is their biggest NZ customer.

richms: Shoes are normally US size IME. only a few places have UK sizing and its normally clearly labeled as such.

I've noticed this too, but I'm sure when I was younger UK sizing was standard. Not sure when/if that changed but I find you always have to try shoes on anyway as sizes are not always consistent.
