It seems the security worked so there should be no need to change anything.

Aviation security is 90% show anyway, most of what they do is a complete waste of time but looks good for those who worry about these things.

Much like another couple of "comedians" that have been in the news lately - not funny.

graemeh: Stop over reacting. This is just a lot of fuss about nothing.

He never had any chance of getting anywhere sensitive.

The intention was there and he tried no fuss at all

Agree with John.
But if telling the cop you were just speeding to see if he would catch you and let you off works for you graeme, then run with it.

You might have thought the moron from the Rock would've learnt a lesson last week....
I suppose if they keep slapping him on the wrist and letting him go back to work, he'll keep doing it...

Hopefully, the judge assigned to this case will have some common sense and would not just  set these guys free without any conviction..

Hence the title of the thread "Fake Pilot a TV Stunt" Foot in Mouth

But in NZ "comedians" get away with everything, so I doubt it.
Like the "comedian" that did something about 50-million times worse than this and walked coz he was "funny" Yell

Storm in a teacup. People seem to be getting rather worked up about this. Security did their job.

Normal Air NZ staff wouldn't let clown through gate. Radio report I heard suggested that he was given benefit of doubt and told to find ID card or contact Security himself if he'd lost it. The head of Aviation Security was asked whether his staff should have detained clown and he sidestepped answer by saying he couldn't comment on an ongoing Police matter.

If it wasn't the usual "journalist" or TV attention seeker pulling this sort of stunt they might still be looking for him.

Hopefully they get a telling off and that's it.
Afterall, if wifebeaters and their ilk can get away with a slap on the wrist then that is the most these guys should get.
