reven: he could have streamed it online, thats not illegal. im sure you can find it on youtube or boxee.

Yeah. Streaming is the new bittorrent. ?The new law doesn't cover it.?

I don't think streaming tv shows off TV Networks websites or some other website could be illegal anyway, as it is all free content, that they allow people to watch free through their ondemand system. They do try to block people outside certain geographic areas, but using a VPN would around that. But I presume all the adverts etc would still be viewable.

reven: on an unrelated note, does anyone know when the new series will air in nz?

Seems like not until next year!

Why oh why cannot we have schedules more like what is happening with the "X Factor" on TV3, where it screens here only hours after it shows in the US??!?!!?

I know for a fact that Two and Half Men (the latest season) screens in Ausi the same day as it does in the USA.

EDIT - changed link for a better quality one - also highlights the same issues I did!

Probably because they will be virtually giving away X-Factor. TAAHM would be a very expensive show for them to do the same thing with. This is probably the same reason why we've just got the new Charlie's Angels less than a week after it aired in the states, because it rated terribly and would presumably be very cheap.
