a website that worked over a mobile device or a 3g connection would have been nice. i went north one year and tried to pay the toll via website when i got to my holiday destination. the web site kept crashing out on load on a slow 2g data signal, mainly due to the page size being so large - i think it was nearly 900k!. by the time i got back i had been fined for not paying on time... i bet a lot of people will try and acces that site on a mobile device or laptop over a 2g/3g connection.

Well here's an interesting one, I just got a notice that says my car went 1 way through the tunnel on the 2nd of October without paying. Funny thing is I haven't been that way since New Years.

I've twice been sent letters from petrol stations saying I've done a runner too when I haven't, apparently some lady with a car similar to mine and a license place ending on a 0 and not an 8 like mine keeps leaving bills where she travels all over the north island.

I'm really glad I'm not going to have to fight this with someone via a txt conversation, I'll be calling tomorrow.
