old3eyes: I don't think this is limited to Fairbuy. I suspect most parallel importers will try to get out of the NZ CGA..


Certainly seems to be the line they are taking - which for a $700 device that lasts only 14mths, is disappointing.. Good thing is Consumer.org.nz seem keen to help..

Unfortunately for them, if they're in the business of selling anything at retail, then they're going to have to play by the rules.

Sometimes the stress\risk of dealing with Mickey Mouse outfits isn't worth a few dollars saved.
