Jaxson: I've just emailed T/M again and posted this link to them. Who knows, they may be looking....

Oh in that case.... I wrote out a post yesterday but decided not to put it up, but will now re-write it.

Here are suggestions I have made in the past which have all been ignored:

- Increasing RAM size categories.

- Creating a separate sim card category under 2 Degrees so I'm not trawling through sim cards to find the occasional phone.

- Separate categories for airsoft and airguns (as in plastic firing vs metal firing)... some of us hate sifting through 90% rubbish to get to the 10% we want.

- Creating a Skinny mobile Category.

Also sorting out the searches like Sella has, ie down to town or even suburb level. Where I live in Timaru, it s lumped in with Oamaru, yet Ashburton/Geraldine/Fairlie which are all closer come under Christchurch.

The problem with that is there might be something I want at Geraldine - 30 minutes away, but I need to search through all of Canterbury's listings (huge) to find the small number in Geraldine.

Likewise I often buy things in "Timaru" - intending to pick up, to find they are actually at Pareora/Temuka/Pleasant Point - which always puts a damper on as then I'm up for 30km+ drive.

Another one would be ability to make searches consistent... I'm sick of every 30 seconds having to re-select the fact I want items sorted by lowest buy now or whatever, there should be an option to leave search settings on one setting until changed.

You're back in Timaru again! What happened to Wellington? (Or was it Auckland)

Totally agree on these ones.  There needs to be a default search sort by option under your profile.  Change it once and only once sort of thing.

And also about the location thing.  The headings are very broad and do not suit anyone outside of the main centres.  If you live close to a few areas it's currently painful conducting the same search several times to achieve all the coverage you require.

It was Wellington. After approx 50 job applications, and with only 1 interview (Who sent me packing within a minute after I said I didn't plan to live in Wellington permanently)... I was left questioning the idea moving to a larger city would lead to better prospects of gaining employment.

After I paid IRD/ACC/WINZ the thousands I owed them, I decided to return to Timaru. My mail box is full of rejection letters almost daily, and the only interview I've had since getting back was for job incorrectly advertised which didn't state Class 2 licence was needed, so I was out of the equation immediately.

Since TradeMe are dropping the ball, maybe now is the time for eBay to make an entrance into the New Zealand market!

There is a grease monkey to fix the sort order to make it always lowest price sort.

The sort order on there really ****es me off, 3 clicks when most sites let you click on a heading once to sort, and again to reverse the sort.

Bought ram up with them on their message boards ages ago, totally ignored other than many people agreeing.

There is the vintage computing section for people to sell their old 128 meg SDram sticks etc.

Remember how long it took them to change the PCI video cards to PCIe?

TV section is a mess with people listing all sorts of crap in there like freeview boxes etc, TVs going in "other" etc.
