My Dell laptop heats up quickly, which is kind of a good thing because my wifi won't associate with the AP until the computer is warm/hot. It will see the AP but cannot connect to it. I tend to keep it running 24/7 these days. If I do shut it down and it cools down, I usually start up MS Flight Simulator X and fly around for 5-10 minutes and that usually does the trick.
I posted a comment on the Stuff article, pointing out to Tony #10 (critical of Stuffs research) that he needs to have a closer look at the article - he'd see it's written by Reuters not Stuff. I went on to say that apart from that, I agreed with his sentiment.
That was late on 21 Mar (3 days ago) and there were 17 comments on the story. I'm finding it mildly amusing that a "moderator" must have gotten a bit miffed with my suggestion as my comment still hasn't been posted :-)
