Bathtime at Floyd's (SFW)

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

When you subscribe to a service but don't really use it and they renew you automatically, but when you tell them you don't want said service, they immediately refund you, no questions asked. What a pleasant change from fighting tooth and nail.

Craftsy, you rock.

A man's attempt to steal a vehicle was foiled when he was detained by members of the public.

...

Members of the public were seen restraining the man and attempting to tie him up with cable ties.

There's a shared driveway about 4 houses up from ours that leads to 6-7 houses. It has a steep entry from an off camber section of road so most cars have difficulty bottoming out when either entering or exiting. The residents have all worked it out but the courier drivers are always getting their Toyota Hiaces stuck. In the past month alone I've helped 4 different drivers extract their beached vans from vicarious positions.

I'm considering setting up a camera to capture the footage and starting my own website/YouTube channel similar to the 11 foot 8 bridge in the US and the Rutherford Ford in the UK.

Getting my new computer: i7-12700 / 32Gb / Gigabyte Z90UD Mobo / Crucial MX500 SSD / WD 4TB Black Hard Drive / Win11Pro! (PBTech Custom Build)

Shortly will get my first experience of Win11Pro! Need to learn how to set it up for local logon only first.

Then comes the "nightmare" of getting all my stuff to run on Win11. (Everything runs on Win10 now)

Why would taking Windows 10 and changing the last digit from a 0 to a 1 cause compatibility problems?

Windows has been getting progressively harder to support older drivers (And new ones are not available). Took a while to get everything I run working on Win10.

I run many "unique" radio related applications / Quake Detector etc.

Ah, I see the problem now... can you transfer any of it to Linux-based systems? I've never run anything that needs non-mainstream (meaning unlikely to be updated every time MS breaks the driver model again) drivers under Windows for exactly that reason. I managed to migrate almost everything out of proprietary drivers/software, although there was a lot of luck involved in getting some things working.

Probably cheaper and easier for them to pay the fines rather than comply.

Naaah, not for sure. AFAIK it is on a per month base. And it has consequences for the myriads of the other adware trackers as well.

My intercepted „shitware traffic“ has decreased from 37% to about 11% within 5 weeks without any changes in my (moderate) blocking lists.

Seeing my boys head off to the same school for their their first day, for the last time ever.

One is just starting at the school and the other is just in his final year.
