NZH is reporting comprehensively on the Polkinghorne trial in Auckland. I find it really weird that a husband and wife write each other long, long letters (reprinted in NZH) about their relationship etc - rather than sitting down and talking about it.

What is weird to me that a married couple still has separate finances and was fighting about money after so many years together, despite its abundance.

Makes me quite relieved that with my dentist and one of the surgeons I've had I think I'm financing their mountain bike hobby rather than methamphetamine and hookers.

It's not that terribly unusual. I've heard of this before in difficult relationship scenarios.

It's actually a pretty good idea in that case, it gives both sides time to think about what they're going to say and makes it almost impossible for things to degenerate into shouting matches as they otherwise often do.

Why did that suddenly provide a mental image of someone pressing very hard on the paper while writing in ALL CAPS?

Following up previous wrongful death case at Disney, and Disney forcing case out of court and into arbitration.

summarized: "Seeing as you guys are such lovely people, we's decided you's can have your day in court. But it's only for you, no other freeloaders.

I feel like I'm forgetting something. Oh yeah, condolences on your loss, but there's always other fish in sea, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah.

Who's up for a pastrami sandwich? There's a place nearby, but be careful if you has allegories. Ha ha ha."

Died at Disney; Disney+ Forced Arbitration?

Yep. Louis Rossman has one on it to. If sign up for Disney + it is in contract that can’t sue Disney for anything, including stuff not related to streaming service. He said they would’ve not had a problem if they had just pirated Disneys content.

When he did his video think Disney was trying to use clause to block court case at that time.

If it was 1.42 kkg then that would be one thing, but kgkg? I have no idea...

1.42 kg per kg? So 2.0164 kg in total?

1.42kg^2 (mass squared) is not the same as 2kg (mass), in the same way that 1.4m^2 (area) is not the same as 2m (distance).

I am struggling to imagine a usage for mass squared, though.

It looks like it has some application in subatomic theory.

kg per kg would be written as "kg/kg" or kg·kg^-1"
