Stuff & Dominion Post today:
It may take a few months for the egg shortage to get back to normal...

As far as I'm aware, we didn't previously have a "normal" egg shortage.

How about: "It may take a few months for the egg supply to get back to normal..."

"First ever satellites launched into space from Western Europe
Sylvia Hui 13:45, Jan 10 2023

"The mission, which saw the rocket taking nine small satellites for mixed civil and defence use into orbit, was the first international launch for Virgin Orbit"

https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/uk/300781333/first-ever-satellites-launched-into-space-from-western-europe

Shame they didn't wait until the mission actually achieved orbit before hitting publish,..

The first rocket the UK has sent into space has suffered an anomaly, meaning the mission failed.

an "anomaly" on the rocket meant it failed to reach orbit......

effectively it won't reach the altitude that it requires to deploy the satellites," he said. "They will probably break up on re-entry...

Not to mention "international launch"... they launched the rocket from one country into another? From multiple countries?

Different nationalities were involved in the launch?

From this article:

Huh??

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Yeah, by 2007 they actually mean 1985. Released in 1985 for Macintosh, and for PC a couple of years later.

I'm thinking more along the lines of "2007 was when Smith introduced completing invoices using Excel".

The article has been updated now to read: "A computer forensic specialist examined the invoices and noted they were created using a Microsoft Excel format which was only introduced in 2007"

Not a headline, but she forgot to mention inter-tribal warfare, slavery and cannibalism.

- As political debates become more polarised, the challenge to the left is to drop the hate and push for understanding and common ground, argues Aaron Hendry.
