Man life is really handing us lemons. INZ have told my guy he needs to provide a fresh PCC from India, despite the fact he hasn't left NZ for the 2 years since his last one was issued. Getting a PCC out of India could potentially be a nightmare with no ETA. Anyone with any ideas on how we could expedite it, glad to hear. He is dealing through a Immigration Lawyer who has told him he isn't allowed to contact INZ directly for fear of jeopardizing his application, so we can't even plead with IMZ to make an exception or grant a work visa temporarily whilst the PCC arrives.

So stressful for us and him.

so sorry to hear that. Immigration been in tatters lately... sometimes I wonder what do they actually do?

He can write a letter with his PCC application requesting them to process it faster due to his job commitments.

Sorry to hear that. Until unless you know someone familiar in that police station's jurisdiction and can deal directly with the Sub-inspector or Inspector, it could be difficult.

Did you say you applied on the 21st of Dec 2020 and got your approval on the 21st of Sept 2021? I applied on Jan 9th 2021 and have still yet to hear from them. We applied online too.

No but I asked my local council if ceremonies were happening at Level 2 (I'm in Taranaki) and they said they'd heard from DIA saying no ceremonies would take place during level 2, 3 or 4 across New Zealand.

No but I asked my local council if ceremonies were happening at Level 2 (I'm in Taranaki) and they said they'd heard from DIA saying no ceremonies would take place during level 2, 3 or 4 across New Zealand.

Just got an email from DIA saying that they will print my certificate on 14 Nov and send it to me within 4 weeks.

In that email it says all ceremonies will be cancelled while any part of the country is at Level 2 or above.

Hope you get an email soon!!!

We applied online on 6th January 2021 and earlier we received an email requesting further information plus a link to do an identity check, we tried to do the photo be it won't work and after 3 or 4 attempts in says exceeded attempts. Anyone else had this problem?

Why do they wait until the 14th of Nov to print your cert?

have yet to reach that part mate. I applied on the 9th of January online...
