>In the United States, tablet use has become nearly universal, with 93% of parents reporting that their two- to four-year-old uses a mobile device

When you order something from Briscoes on the 19th, they send you an email on the 23rd with a tracking link saying its In Transit.

But the tracking link comes up as invalid when you click on it.

You call them 10 minutes ago to just to check what's going on, and they say, oh its still in the warehouse but its ready for dispatch.

Apparently there is a definition of In Transit I wasnt previously aware of.

It's in transit from one end of the warehouse to the other.

Often that means "we're waiting for the courier company to send someone to collect it".

It's kind of in transit, in the sense that there's nothing more they can do and it's up to the courier.

Is that Transit, Ontario or Transit, Bulgaria?  Seems a long way to ship it in either case.

IME if you don't tell people that things are sent, then they will still want to add to the order. Not as bad with retail sites, but b2b sales always seem to think that things are just able to keep having things added to them, packaging done or not, courier ticket done or not. Best to just say its left already when they call.

Wouldn't it be far more honest to have a 'finalised' or similar status on the order in that case.  Being misled by a supplier leaves a sour taste in my view.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I was just on a forum where the same person has posted the same comment four times (and counting?). I clicked on "flag". There's nowhere to type in what the problem is, only a menu of half a dozen problem types, with a note that if it's not in the list then it shouldn't reported. So apparently spamming the same thing over and over is fine?

Edit: And "I disagree with the comment" is one of the options. So apparently that is worthy of moderation, but spamming isn't?

Water Cooling Kit for Raspberry Pi 5.  Next up, a turbocharger for the Fiat 500.

Yep - you’re onto it!

My kids were doing a sausage sizzle today and offered a lady a sausage for her dog (always a couple that fall to the ground), but she refused saying her dog was a vegetarian ... can they actually be vegetarians ???
