Hi.

Anyone here watching Lous and Superman, and able to tell me if it gets better or worse beyond Ep 4 S1?

This Is Going to Hurt - 8/10 on TVNZ+

Set on a NHS labour Ward with all its hilarity and heart-lifting highs but also its gut-wrenching lows, the show delivers a brutally honest depiction of life as a junior doctor on the NHS wards, and the toll the job can take back home.

What a little surprise this series is. Ben Whishaw, of Bond Q fame, is really good in this. It makes a change to see a gay man playing a gay role, though this is happening more often these days. The show really highlights the British NHS and its failures due to lack of finance and staffing. The dry humour is great.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I really like QI and iPlayer finally has every one of them.

I used to love it too. I am by no means a prude but I stopped watching it because I felt it had become unnecessarily crude and smutty. A very clever and witty show but it did not need vulgarity to be funny. Did itself a disservice.

I agree about that. And usually the same suspects (or one very regular suspect anyway...). Still like it a lot though.

Kind of similar to my moan in the What Annoys You thread about excessive swearing. I guess its more realistic but its also unnecessary. I mean, I don't want to watch a new Sherlock and we get something like 'for F...s sake Watson, you're such a moron' etc, etc.

Ms Marvel.

Awful stuff aimed at a teen (or possibly pre-teen) audience.

Not a fan.

Re-watching The Sopranos. I first did a watch through about  7 years ago after catching the odd episode here and there when it was on TV. It's still 10/10.

did the same thing a few years back, I was in my late teens early 20's while watching it originally.. it is absolutely amazing but man with a bit of maturity behind me my optics changed a lot about the characters. Absolute scumbags! Especially Tony and Chris.

Pleased to see Hacks has finally been renewed for Season 3.

Loved Second Season of Russian Doll. A bit different to Season 1, but still excellent.

Currently working through The Boys Season 3. Started off with a doozy just a few minutes in and hasn't let up.

Really enjoyed the latest season of Taskmaster (UK) - I only knew two of the contestants going in, but they were all great. I've never seen the hosts laughing so much either.

Binged through Obi-Wan Kenobi, enjoyed it.

This is Going to Hurt was brilliant as well.
