Several weeks?

"But while the information was first publicly revealed on Tuesday, his death certificate shows he died several weeks ago."

23 - 10 = 13
13 / 7 = 1 (integer calculation)

insulating window films https://www.stuff.co.nz/environment/climate-news/132072204/diy-insulating-window-films--do-they-really-work

"On the technical front, the answer is yes. The Branz window film study found that in some instances plastic window films could increase heat retention by up to 40%."

except the Branz study they quote is not about secondary window films that the article is about. it actually says

"1.0.2 Sheet films are sometimes used as secondary glazing, where the film is separated from the existing glazing, typically to give inexpensive, temporary thermal insulation. This is covered in Bulletin 507 Timber windows – retrofit glazing options for thermal improvement and not in this bulletin, which covers only after-market films applied directly to the glass."

so quoting a study on a different topic as evidence, standard misinformation practise.

This one actually made me think...

Newshub: Hell Pizza launches new buy now, pay when you're dead payment scheme

Hell Pizza has hit out at controversial 'buy now, pay later' schemes by offering Kiwis the chance to pay for pizza a lot, lot later - when they're dead.

Hell announced its new 'AfterLife Pay' on Thursday morning, saying they're turning up the "heat" on buy now, pay later (BNPL) schemes - which are trapping a growing number of Kiwis in spirals of debt, particularly amid the cost of living crisis.

AfterLife Pay will only be available to a select number of people: those who are selected will be invited to sign a real amendment to their wills, allowing the cost of their pizza to be collected upon death. No interest or fees will apply, and the agreement is legally binding, Hell said.

Would you trust Hell Pizzas to feed you knowing that they get paid when you die? "Give him extra cheese and raw chicken."

Herald article headline today:

“The Front Page: King’s Birthday and Coronation Honours 2023 explained - Who decides which New Zealanders become Sirs and Damess”

That would be “Knights and Dames”.

SirHumphreyAppleby:

Which elements were these?

Well, there's so many to choose from.

Perhaps the heroine was a man who identified as a woman? Or the heroine actually identified as a man?

Perhaps (s)he only had a difficult background compared to Ivanka Trump.

Perhaps (s)he never actually "triumphed" to become a lawyer, and actually became something productive like a plumber?
