Watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (11 year old daughter in tow). Did not need to think too hard so good movie. Thought that some important parts of the book were missing so will be interesting to see how they bundle this into the next one.

K2Linux:
The Shining anyone?

The only version of The Shining that I have seen that was any good was the original version with Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall.

Last movie I went to was the Stgar Trek reboot. I was poleasently surprised.

I'd go on a Vegan diet but the delivery time from Vega is too long.

When I watched Shining, it was a bunch of kids in a dark house (to add to the mood) and the first to scream (or cry) would get owned by the others.

Double-scary.

Watched Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian this weekend. Like the first one a bit better, but not bad. I'd say 7/10.

Transformers 2. Thought 1 was far better, i mean a robot humping Megan fox's leg is not funny, desperate for laughs. Felt to rushed or maybe im just getting to old.

I saw The Hangover recently and while it wasnt laugh a second as people have been making out it is, it was def worth quite a few chuckles :) But its a movie that you can watch at home, not a "must see" for the big screen.

Snatch - OK but dated.
Watchmen - didn't really get into it.

I went to see the Harry Potter on Imax with the kids over the school holidays

Loved the 3D bit in the beginning.

If you are watching - make sure you sit in the back 4 rows in the middle to make the most of the 3D experience. It is well worth it - with some fantastic special affects set in London in full 3D.

Fun with Dick and Jane - Very Funny

Disaster Movie - Average

The Godfather - First time I've seen it. Found it a bit hard to follow (But then I was kind of distracted)

Watched:
"The Hangover" - was quite funny :)
"Land of the Lost (remake)" - funny, but stupid funny.. they went abit overkill.
"Picture This" - Partners choice.. girl flick
"Poison Ivy 4 - Secret Society" - not too bad.. a few R rated scenes.. didnt realise it was going to show as much as it did.. think its a R16 rating..

That was over the last week or so..
