A bunch of angled IEC adapters to deal with the endless amount of stuff that has power cords sticking straight out and getting in the way or making it impossible to position the thing it's powering on a shelf or rack. This is all that's left of the original order, once you start looking round you realise that about half the electronics gear you've got needs these.

That looks like an up angle adapter rather than a right angle adapter. But yeah. I got some cables with that on the end of them to let me put a switch in a cabinet that was just a little too shallow to be comfortable with the standard one getting crushed against the back.

Those were the ones that didn't get used, every other combination of angle is now plugged into something and I just ordered another batch of the ones I need more of.

I did not know they were a thing. Will be ordering a few.

A BliKVM, which acts as a browser-accessible KVM, plug the target device's video and USB into it and you can control it over a network without having to drag a monitor and keyboard to wherever it's located.

Wish these things had been around years ago.

Just got my slitting saws + Mandrel for my lathe (And mill when I buy that)

Now need to make a bar to hold my MT3 ER32 collet adaptor in the lathe so it does not fall out

LOTS AND LOTS of Yak shaving going on. When I have my slitting saw sorted I can make a micrometer holder that will mount in my tool post of my lathe, so I can then use that to centre up the head of the machinist hammer I have made so I can mill a flat into the side so that I can then drill a hole that I can then thread so I can then put the handle in place....

So this week at work I have been able to go into the mechanics workshop, use their large drill press to put some holes in some heatsinks, then today used an adjustable reamer to ream the holes out for some cartridge heating elements, and use the big bandsaw to cut everything to size. Learning lots as I go, this is all new to me.

Meantime I have my 15L ultrasonic cleaning bath set up so I will be starting in the repairs of my computer collection getting ready for sale to make the space so I can have the mill. I will probably look at getting a decent Hakko vacuum desoldering station to replace my cheap when I get some spare money, the one we have at work is excellent.

I also have a farm jack delivered so that I can use this to jack out fenceposts out of the ground so that I can replace the fence (easter job).

Best part is, now I am free from daily migraines, I can actually do this, both physically and mentally.

Life is back to being effing awesome, I am having fun, I doing different stuff...

Hasn't arrived, in fact haven't even ordered it, but thought this might be of interest to some, it's a mini table saw for situations where a full-sized saw will just end up tearing up whatever you're cutting. Looks pretty decent and there are links to several YT review videos, all metal chassis and perfect for cutting up smaller stuff like mouldings, plastic pipes and struts, and in my case PCBs.

I'm still deciding whether I want one more piece of stuff sitting around, so it was more an FYI in case others have a use for it, if I'd known about this a year or two back I'd definitely have got one then.

This mitre saw protractor:

It's a great way of transferring random angles you encounter onto mitre scale positions for cuts to fit the angles.

I appreciate your appreciation for AliExpress, Neb. Can we get a total count on items you've purchased off of AliExpress?

I am but a rank amateur compared to @richms.

And it's just occasional stuff, for example Woodpeckers will release something new, wait six months and then get the best-quality knockoff from Ali - it'd be nice to support Woodpeckers but they're pretty unaffordable for anyone outside the US.

Edited to add: And it's usually in response to something, for example I got the mitre protractor after running up and down the garden about a hundred times [*] trying to get some supports for a retaining wall cut to fit because I didn't have any easy way to transfer the not-quite-90-degrees angles to the timber I needed to cut.

[*] Figure exaggerated for effect.
