She Hulk - Disney+

I am really not sure what to say. It wasn't great, I am not even sure what purpose it serves or what story it tells, but I guess I'll watch a couple of more episodes in the hope it improves. Not saying it didn't have any decent moments, it just feels really... odd.  I did not understand smart hulk at all.

Was thinking of not watching it after episode 1, but enjoyed episode 2 a lot better. My interest sparked up when Tim Roth appeared on it!

Lot of Easter eggs, more on it here https://www.inverse.com/entertainment/she-hulk-episode-2-finally-acknowledges-mcu-eternals-ending

Geektastic: The Sandman.

I persevered through the woke messaging and the story was almost good enough to compensate. Not quite.

7 episodes in and it is simply stunning. An outstanding achievement that exceeds the Audible version.

2 episodes in and loving it, especially the 4 wall breaks. It is pleasantly silly and I can't wait to see where it goes with Tim Roth's character.

Welcome to Wrexham - Disney+

Very interesting perspective and already quite compelling. Don't expect a Ted Lasso style show, this is a lot more down to earth.

House of the Dragon.

I enjoyed it. A lot of visual callbacks to the final GOT episode in the opening scenes. Quite a different look to King's Landing. Definitely think the change of timeline from the initial proposal for a much earlier timeline to a more contemporary one was the right call.

I also sort of enjoyed it, though I seem to struggle to keep track of the names and people.

Yes two episodes in and I quite like it.  Wondered why the music was so familiar .  It's written by Ramin Djawadi  who also wrote the recently finished Westworld score.

I watched the first episode of this last night as it happens, as I waited to see if NASA could manage to launch their very expensive rocket.

Thought it was an enjoyable watch for 30 minutes of television, both Reynolds and McElhenney seem to be very likeable human beings.  My main question after one episode is "why Wrexham?"

Obviously after the vote, it seems the locals were right on-board with a couple of Hollywood types riding in to buy the club.  Call me cynical I suppose, but I'm wondering if a lot of it's about making a TV show or that Wrexham was available for "fire-sale" cheap, rather than innate interest in this particular football club.

I've finished Westworld. It left me...unsatisfied.

I didn't enjoy this season as I did the previous ones. Won't bother if it gets renewed.

Also watching She-Hulk. It's more Ally McBeale than Avengers, but so far it's OK.

Started watching A Discovery of Witches on Neon this week....I am enjoying it.

House of the Dragon is typically brutal, drama-filled and seething with intrigue. More of the same, yet slightly different so as not to bore the audience. Liking what I have seen so far.

Future Man is getting sillier by the episode.

Also - wife and I have just watched God's Favourite Idiot. Quite endearing in its own way.

Finished 3 seasons of Travellers. I really liked it. I wish there had been more. Not sure I loved the ending but it was sort of enough closure. 8/10 overall, 7 for the final few eps.

Fell asleep during second ep of She Hulk, not sure that's a great sign. I'm missing my weekly dose of Murders in the Building.

Watched the new LOTR first episode, will watch the second and see where we are at.

The second is way better than the first.

Yes - LOTR TV series has started really well. Visually it is excellent and you can see they spent that half a billion wisely :)

The plot and characters are development is also excellent so far.

Looking forward to more.

This season took an awfully long time to go not very far,  I think they should have crammed the season 5 arc into four and be done with it...

Although if they do get a 5th, I'm seriously hoping Delores ends up creating a Tony Hopkins host as the story goes totally full circle...

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes of the new Lord of the Rings prequel. The hobbit storyline is weak so far but the rest has been fun. I’ll be watching the rest of it I’m sure.

Trainwreck - 3 part Netflix docco on how corporate greed and poor planning turned Woodstock 99 into a chaotic fiasco.

Compelling and interesting.  About the right mix of historical footage vs current day interviews/analysis. not really any boring bits or padding.  7.5/10 from me.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Rick and Morty has started. Three episode.

You may find S06e01 hard to follow, but youtube can explain. Most explanation are almost as long as the episode.

If you're a casual watcher, it's safe to ignore this episode completely, and start afresh from s06e02.

S06e01 spoiler alert
