You just miss having a secretary to boss around. Used to be a major component of the male ego toolbox.

Never felt the need to boss around my EA.

Not trying to be flippant or provocative but cannabis has acquired a pretty good reputation for pain relief and the restrictions on it have just been loosened a little. Maybe you don't have to go as far as opiates. This or something else might offer an acceptable intermediate solution. I'm sure you have already looked into all this but I'm just mentioning it anyway.

Nope. Just hate typing and filling. Prefer to dictate my letters too.

Can't beat the support of a good secretary.

Food packaging that does not work as it should. Recent examples

Anchor milk carton that was actually seeping through the main moulding join at the bottom of the container
Ham packaging with two separate compartments, perforated to allow separation. Tearing the improperly designed perforation ripped open the second, sealed, compartment and therefore defeated the purpose
Supermarkets that can't grasp how much more hygienic using sealed trays would be that allowing meat to leak through cling film all over shelves, hands and shopping
Foil tops on milk where the tab rips off, leaving the foil behind untouched!
re-sealable packaging that does not actually reseal (e.g. some cheese packaging)

Some cheese packaging? - I reckon it's all supposedly resealable cheese packaging.

You forgot tabs on drinks and other cans that break off so you can't open the container without a tool. Not a biggie in the kitchen but a real pain if you are somewhere that you don't have a tool because you assumed the bloody can would work like it is supposed to.

I think that is more to do with the lack of competition and there essentially being a duopoly in many areas. You can get more specialist products, but in order for them to be in supermarkets, they usually have to be big providers. So local markets are were small players hang out, and are perhaps a better place to buy that sort of thing, especially fresh fruit and veges.

Some cheese packaging? - I reckon it's all supposedly resealable cheese packaging.

Cheese slices (the proper Mainland ones, not the processed ones) in this instance. The tear open lid should reseal to the plastic tray bit but never does.

I don't know about you guys, but when I'm driving in the rain I like to travel at literally half the posted speed limit. I just feel safer that way!
