What's something small that really annoys me? When my links don't work.

(I'll attempt to fix it.)

I try (admittedly don't always succeed) to think for the other drivers because you never know what their capabilities are and I don't like getting hit anywhere. Try to anticipate potential situations up ahead and give the driver behind lots of warnings by gradually slowing and pumping the brake lights if necessary. Keep an eye on the mirror and if they don't slow down look for an escape route. I have known people who follow the rules but don't feel responsibility for the mistakes of others. I would rather be safe than right. I am happy to do whatever it takes to avoid an accident. If that means giving way to an idiot, I don't have a problem with it.

Both our accidents were entirely unavoidable by us... stationary at traffic lights...The first was bad as they accelerated as soon as lights turned green and before we even started moving. I guess the road code does say to go on a green light but they took it literally.

We were in process of selling too so all the more grrrrrr

Programmes on the freeview guide that are repeats and it's not indicated as such. Happens a lot.

The breathless, high-pitched, over-excited, exclamatory tone of voice that invariably infects commercials in this country. Partly for this reason I try to avoid commercials as much as possible but some leak through. Why the devil can't people just talk about soap or soup or furniture or whatever without making it sound like they are in the throes of sexual satisfaction? This is starting to really annoy me.

Reminder emails about a limited offer:

  • Hurry, offer ends soon
  • Offer ends tomorrow
  • Offer ends midnight
  • Offer extended

The above were all from Carbonite.

When I see offer extended I assume they have not had a good take up of the offer.

A proliferation of road signs in the name of safety. Example: around the corner from where I live there's a level railway crossing with bells and barrier arms. On top of those there are also signs placed maybe 50 metres back warning of the crossing. Recently, new signs have appeared on both sides of the crossing by the footpath also warning of the crossing. These are about two metres away from the tracks I guess.

Also on this same stretch of road are a couple of new signs warning of a pedestrian crossing off a side street that's in front of a primary school.

Safety is all good, but it just seems that there so many signs on that stretch of road now. Probably mandated by Health and safety laws.

Roundabout ones on the island in the center really annoy me because they block the view of indicators of oncoming cars.

Recently i have been Dropping of my wife to Auckland Airport as her car is getting repaired,

Motorway 20B has only 1 lane on each side and the speed limit is 100.

Still people go on speed of 60-80 and this annoys me a lot.

Cars that just don't indicate at roundabouts annoy me something chronic. I know my reaction is out of all proportion but it's still something that drives me nuts.

Drivers still unable to indicate CORRECTLY at roundabouts.

Drivers who think holding their phone in their hand and using the phone's built in speakerphone facility whilst driving is okay.

Drivers still driving with their cell phones up to their ear, yacking away, oblivious to what's going on around them.

Drivers who are, for no apparent reason, oblivious to what's going on around them.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
