I am the opposite, she annoys the heck out of me. Her and Larry David are my two least favourite actors of all time.

I still watch her movies because sometimes they have good plots, but LD I won't watch in anything.

Larry David is pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

He just creeps me out so badly. It's freaking horrible.

This is why I have not ever seen any of the 'Mission Impossible' franchise because Tom Cruise does the same thing to me. He just can not act and that greasy smile freaks me out. The last TC movie I saw was 'Top Gun' and only because I am ex RNZAF so planes excite me a little bit. 😊

Ah, I think you are missing out. He does awesome as Ethan Hunt and I really like the plot twists. I used to watch MI with my grandfather (original series) and I think they have done a great job with the movies.

Once upon a Time In Venice (2017) - Bruce Willis at his worst plus John Goodman - 2½/5

John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) - not as good as the first but still - 3½/5

Aftermath - Arnie 5/10

It was just a nothing movie, no plot twists, not really even that interesting of a story.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - ?/10

Don't honestly know what to say about this. Was odd, funny, an interesting idea but pretty easy to see the twist way before it happened. Some reasonable actors and it had me for a while, then lost me, then got me, then lost me. Not your average flick and the wife enjoyed it.

Worth a watch but don't expect to be blown away.

They movie is indeed average, but the 2016 10 part series on Netflix is actually quite good. Give that a go.

Season 1 was enjoyable. I stopped watching Season 2 after episode 1. It felt like they didn't offer anything new going forward. Disappointed.

Yup agreed. Some excellent lines in that. I wouldn't want to know how many times the words M and F were used together in that movie. I think it's pretty much all that SLJ says.

We are going to bed early to watch Kim Dotcom: Caught in the Web. I wonder if we will fall asleep early as well?

Gifted

Nice drama that will see your eyes at times find that dust in the air and water a little bit. 8.5/10

Atomic Blonde

Slow to get started and after the first 20 or so minutes I almost tuned out. The pace picked up and by the end I quite enjoyed it. 7/10

Transformers: The Last Knight

4/10 and it only made it that high due to Anthony Hopkins - always enjoy his performances. But if you've seen any of the previous movies you've already seen this one.

The Big Sick

Romantic Comedy that is losely based on the story of two different cultures coming together. 9/10

Baby Driver

Great action/crime flick with a great soundtrack. Marked down to an 8/10 for those Tui yeah, right moments

Logan Lucky

Oceans Eleven meets West Virginia. Comedy/Crime genre from Steven Soderbergh. Another 8/10.

Kubo and the 2 Strings

Watched this with my kids, but really really enjoyed it myself. Reminded me a (little) bit of an old online anime(ish) series called Ninjai, but better. Possibly a bit scary in bits for younger kids but both myself and mine definitely liked it.  Very cool end credits too :)

Have just got home from watching Dunkirk. And indeed, it is a masterpiece, gritty, and draining. Less is more.
