The groundbreaking images of the telescope and Hubble successor "James Webb" despite all the astronomical costs. ;-)

That the future is always reliably bright (even if there are and will be periods of gloom for us humans in the meantime). And should we blow up the earth, it will only be noticed millions of light years away out there - if at all. ;-)

Eye wateringly (that’s a real word) amazing. Such a shame that technology isn’t being invested in more. We should have restarted the space missions a long time ago.

For the culture vultures among you, there's finally going to be a bluray of Arsenic and Old Lace come October.

Watching classic 80's Geek movies while home in isolation. Today's movie is War Games with Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy from 1983.

At short notice just booked a 15-day boat/bike cruise on the Danube - to use up a credit from a different boat/bike cruise in Croatia in 2020 that was cancelled due to COV. We thought the credit had expired in May this year and we had mentally written it off. However last week the local agent told us it had been extended to Dec 2022.

Nice surprise - acted quickly and we leave for Munich in a couple of weeks.

Yeah - unfortunately we'll be back by then. However been there, done that - in 1975. Would go again tho' if our dates worked.
