Started watching an Apple original (Apple TV+) called Hello Tomorrow!

It's set in some sort of alternate timeline, where the 1950's version of the future is reality - i.e. it's the 1950's and there are period-accurate futuristic things like hover cars (but still Chevy Bel Air styled) and robot vacuums.

The main premise is that the core characters are selling houses and timeshares on the moon - as yet I haven't worked out of the moon residences actually exist. It is all a bit...shady. Like 1990's time-share sales in Spain.

Watched 3 Ep's of Last of us last night.

Episode 3 was one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen. I was quite touched by how it played out. Incredibly well-written and acted. 10/10 from me.

Was that the one in the town, surrounded by barbed wire? Nick Offerman?

Agree. I had been enjoying the show up to this point, but I wondered if Pedro Pascal was maybe carrying the load so to speak. This episode proved otherwise to me at least. Another 10/10.

Quite right they both did a great job. Playing MK2 was great, and I felt like I could have been watching the game characters when they were dancing with the masks on.

Season 1 and 2 of Goliath were excellent, if not quite visceral. Season 3 I am struggling with. If someone wants to PM me to explain the weird episodes the guy has intermittently without spoiling, it might be useful.

Agent Elvis, total rubbish, couldn't fit through it. Archer is much better comparitively.

SJB:

Poker Face - 6/10 - TVNZ OD

Lightweight entertainment with a quirky lead who solves murders because she can tell if someone is lying. Six episodes is enough.

I watched all 10 of Poker Face, it did drag a bit in the middle of the season, but Episode 9 was fantastic and 10 was a good end of the season.

I have just finished Carnival Row on Prime, was great, although the last two episodes felt a bit rushed to wrap up the story lines which I guess the writers assumed they would have had a third season to do. But overall was still goods and a satisfactory ending. Have also started The Consultant also on Prime, Christoph Waltz is excellently creepy as the title character.

OMG I am so confused by what's happening in S3 of Goliath. I understand who the goliath is, but that's about. It feels like it's all over the place, and 5 eps in, I am just more confused.

i like to help you but i never finished watching S3, here is a quote on it

Season three is a mess. It's eight episodes of nonsense that wastes the talents of Amy Brenneman, Dennis Quaid, and Beau Bridges, in addition to series regulars Nina Arianda and even Thornton. Billy Bob Thornton is either playing himself or he is such a good actor that he is totally absorbed by this role.

Just skip to S4 much better.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

A new Star Wars spin-off series is coming from Disney+ in August 2023:

Series centres on the adventures of Ahsoka Tano. A spin-off of 'The Mandalorian'.

Looks interesting.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

We have been watching Blue Lights on BBC - a police procedural with a slight twist. It follows a group of young probationary police officers based in a station in Belfast.

At first I thought it might just be a Cat B series but as it has progressed I have realised that there is a lot to it. Just finished E4 out of 6 and am really hooked. Excellent IMO.

Finished Goliath Season 3. Was still a bit strange at the start, but it was back to it's best by the end. I am gutted there isn't another season!
