Ge0rge:Is it still open if the floor is making up one side of it?
Depends on whether you intend to consume the floor as part of the sandwich or it's just a substrate.

From the sandwich's POV the floor is a superstratum, surely?
You are funny guys, always up for some nonsense and this makes me smile. ;-)

At this time it is no longer a sandwich. I maintain my position 😉.
I might as well ask you until when John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich and Godefroy de Bouillon, pre-eminent leader of the First Crusade lived?
[A: Until there was nothing else to eat.]

Realising that it's Thursday, not Wednesday, and that there's only one more day before the weekend :)
Air Fryers. Oops, sorry @tdgeek, I mean Air Bakers of course 😉. They're a brilliant invention.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
The new Subway app. Much better interface.
Also, ordering through apps in general. Whether it be Z with a coffee or Subway with a sandwich; nice to be able to walk in, pick up, and leave.

They'll probably still get the order wrong! I gave up going to Subway because they got the order wrong 9/10 times at every store I tried here in Christchurch!

Geektastic: I managed to snag one of 500 Limited Edition Fisher Space Pens made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.

KRASIN Constructors, near-universal in Soviet Russia and still around today.

Geektastic: I read somewhere that taking pencils isn’t a good plan because of fine graphite dust in zero gravity but no idea if that’s true.
I've heard that one too, but given that most of it ends up on the paper, the equipment is designed for very harsh environments and shouldn't really be bothered by it, and that the Russians didn't seem to have any problems with it, I think it may be more a hypothetical problem.
Hey, I can keep up with that. 2x Victorinox limited edition in their original box.:-)

After missing out on a long-planned Ski holiday with my family due to suffering a leg injury the night before we were all due to leave (they went without me, and I stayed and worked), which led directly into lockdown for 4 months, I got to take that holiday this past week!
We had 4.5 of the 5 days skiing in Bluebird conditions (with a few hours spent in heavy snow fall, which was also fun and unique) with fresh powder a couple of times. To top it off, I am 0 falls despite only learning to ski from scratch this trip.
