Purchased a pressure washer and suddenly everything is so dirty and the whole world needs a clean

The neighbours across the road were also making the most of the good weekend weather and had removed up some growth on a fence so I was eyeing up my extension leads wondering if they'd reach

Phoning the Bank and finally confirming that the fraudulent credit card transactions have been accepted as fraudulent!

Apparently I was the first of MANY hit by the "Upwork fraud". Didn't say where they got my details, or how it happened etc.

If I was a day or 2 later, the system would have flagged it immediately! B*gger being first!

I do not really know if this makes me smile or shake my head in wonder that we have dumbed down the world so far since I was a child (I am 54 not 104, btw!)

Both at the same time really. It is equally funny and terrifying which is a strange combo.

It would be interesting to see that done in other nations, I feel the results would be very similar

Google's ongoing nags that I have X days left to set up billing for Y, where Y is some monetised Google service but I never bother reading past the subject line to see what it is. I'm enthusiastically looking forward to X dropping to zero with no billing set up and no money going to Google.

He, reminds me of the uber eats spam I got. It started off with 'quick, your 50% off deal expires soon', but as the deadline approached it then moved to 'quick, your 50% off deal expires really soon' all the way through to 'quick, your 50% off deal expires really really really soon'.

When I didn't take up the 'amazing' offer they went quiet as if stupefied by the rejection, sadly only for a while.
