My beloved Bootsie boy died seven years ago, on 19 September. That is as long as he lived. He was the best friend I ever had and I mark his passing every year.

RIP Bootsie. You obviously meant as much to Rikki as Blackie meant to me.

If you're in kitty heaven with Blackie, say hi to one another.

Thought I'd post this.

Last year, I got my partner the hardest jigsaw puzzle I could find. My partner completed it recently however my cat Pixel thought the puzzle pieces were the best toys in the world and thus the puzzle was completed with one bit missing.

I think the photo is of it yawning, not trying to attack.

We don't have a dog anymore but this guy lives locally so I'll claim him as a pet.

Snoopy is now a 6 yr old Toy Maltese which we got from the Pound 3 years or so ago.

He doesn't so much have a play drive but he loves going for walks. All our animals (2 Ocicates and Snoopy) recently had their teeth  checked and cleaned. Snoopy required some extractions so Id encourage everyone with cats/dogs to start a teeth  cleaning regime

Tank is 6, on the left, and is sensible.

Panzer is 1, on the right, and is special.

They're good mates, chilling here on the back porch.

My cat Moe is really smart. I keep him indoors at night and only let him out under supervision in the daytime. Last night the wind was blowing and he was agitated and really wanted to go out. In this weather I keep the main door to my bedroom open but have a ranch slider screen door closed to keep him in. Last night, while I was watching from bed, he hooked a claw into the screen door, casually slid it open, and let himself out into the night! I could hardly believe my eyes. Fortunately he didn't go far. I found him sitting quietly, enjoying the night air, and brought him back inside. Today I have added a latch to the door. I suppose now he will figure out how to undo that!

I do a little boarding for guide dogs and here are a couple of characters I've had the previlege of hanging out with.

Just returned home after a great day at the beach. See working dogs have fun too!

Same furrball after the hose down. Admiring one's self in the reflection, gosh i'm beautiful.

Avenger dog in the making.

We've lost her over a month ago, she was 16.

Dogs are great except that losing them really sucks.
