If 5000 makes you sad, what does nearly 30K posts make you? :) Don't answer that.

Huh?

Now bring on a long dry summer that starts now (as we've paid $16k to have new gutters put in).

Think of how that long dry summer will save wear and tear on them. ;)

Geektastic: Just go outside and say in a loud voice “The weather looks good. Let’s have bbq!”

I laughed snorted with laughter at that. He lives in Auckland I actually want to run my new BBQ this weekend, so I forbid it!

I could run mine to melt the frost off the deck in the mornings here!

Sunshine and the prospect of a long weekend.

And we've booked flights to go to Queenstown for Xmas to spend it with my family for the first time in 20 years.

We normally spend Christmas with my wife's family and catch up with mine if they come to Auckland or we happen to get to the Sth Island in the New Year.

We've just paid to have new windows put in with the amazing property that when it rains they keep the water outside the walls. Outside, imagine that!

The long dry summer will also help those a lot.

The scent from these is just incredible, it fills the whole garden. At night when coming down the street you can smell it from some distance away.

msukiwi:Also part of Ebay's Global Shipping Program, offering "fast" tracked shipping.

Apologies for spoiling the fun, but I suspect this will turn into an Annoy thread post once you find out what the GSP is really like. Is it too late to ask them if they could send it direct?

Still smiling.... filter arrived before the "By 01Nov", and it works exactly as hoped.

But yes, AliExpress (Their own Standard Shipping) ship way faster than EBay's equivalent.

Over two weeks to go from New York - New Jersey - Cincinnati - Kentucky - (Within 4 days) - Then no tracking location given for 2 weeks before it left from somewhere in the USA for NZ!

That's the Pitney Bowes dispatch centre in Erlanger, Kentucky. You get tracking to Kentucky, then it vanishes into a black hole for an indeterminate amount of time and then may or may not appear at your door.

If you want to complain to eBay about it, the end of the queue is over there.
