We watched the Leader's Debate last night. Can't find an entry on IMDB to give it a rating.

How would you rate it on a tomato-meter?

Wrestlers , Netflix
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt28711468/

A docu-series about a small Wrestling company, struggling just to pay the bills .
Its not the WWE , the wrestlers all have other normal jobs .

What makes it interesting is the people and their lives , and the fact that the company is struggling
to stay open, being on a long streak of loosing money .

Hammerer:

Lizard1977:

The Night Agent (Netflix) - 7/10

None of the cast were major "knowns" (except for Robert Patrick in the first couple of episodes), so there is an element of this show being like an Aliexpress version of 24.….

I thought much the same as you. It is as silly as 24 which I also watched because it was good fun and never managed to cause me to give up on it.

But I’m commenting here because some will be interested to know the female lead, Luciane Buchanan, is from Aotearoa.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4578161/bio/

Also enjoyed this show, not too taxing on the mind and generally good fun.

Had no idea that Luciane is one of ours, it's great to see the proliferation of Kiwi's (especially women it seems) in international productions these days.

Just finished watching a three-episode documentary series on Netflix - Arnold (i.e. Schwarzenegger). Thought it was totally brilliant - one of the better things I’ve seen recently. Way more interesting than I expected it would be.

See on IMDB.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Oh How Exiting, How Exiting ‼️

Dr Who 60th anniversary Special

in November 2023 with three special episodes.

Spoiler Alert: Neil Patrick Harris is playing the Doctor Who villain known as the Toymaker.

ripjack: Just got done watching "Hijack" (available on Apple)

Overall I I liked it and and I thought it was mostly well acted with good pacing.
Some parts of the story didn't add up for me though so I might need to rewatch at some point.

Just finished watching episode 5 of 7. There are some holes in the plot if you look for them, but so far I've really enjoyed it.

Invasion - latest episode on Apple TV+ - wish it was all dropped in one hit so I could just binge it.

Also up to date on The Morning Show on Apple TV+. It's a good series. I do miss Steve Carrell's character though.

Wheel of Time on Prime is pretty engaging too.

Also just finished Foundation on Apple TV+. Not as good as the previous season but still good.

Part way through See season 2 on Apple TV+ - it's pretty hard going, to be fair.

This was a mixed bag. Like the first season, the Genetic Dynasty stuff was pretty good, but the other storyline with the telepaths was pretty bad. I also feel like Gaal is a bit of a Mary Sue; and they keep telling us how great and important she is, but it really doesn't feel earned.

EDIT: For clarity

I agree with you there. I think some of the dialogue really clumsy, too - trying to come across as grossly intellectual (much like the books), but instead just coming across as word salad.

I am yet to discover just why and how Gaal is so great and have largely lost interest in her.

I found the first season boring because of this. Very pretty but boring.

She-Hulk S1 - EP9 - This had me hooked quickly great story and by the end of episode felt consistent with the original to an extent - I really enjoyed it.

Then, I tried to watch more episodes. That.. didn't work for me at all. I'm not going into detail, I have a few more episodes to go and that could take a while.

Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story Netflix 8/10

Atmospheric and intense story of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and some of his victims. Created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) and starring Evan Peters (also American Horror Story) its a hard watch but worth it.

Not family viewing material.

EP9 was the finale, so you've got me confused.
