Deadpool 2. Still trying to figure what was the fuss about. Rated highly on IMDB, yet just like other sequels - weak.

It was weak. After that film I decided that's gonna be the last time I watch any new Marvel movie.

You guys must have seen a different version to me, I loved it.  Lots of laughs, heaps of Easter-eggs, generally just a fun movie to put a smile on ya dial.   I give it a 7.5/10 and can't wait to watch it again.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

I thought the original Deadpool was a bunch of one-liners in search of a plot. So I have no interest in a repeat.

It probably helps to have some attachment to the character from the comics, which is why it worked for me.

Well, I had never heard of Deadpool before the trailers for the movie was released and I really enjoyed the movie. I think people going into it expecting a documentary would be disappointed.

Spitfire 8/10
Documentary at film festival.
I am a sucker for ww2 plane stuff.
Lots of first person discussions with original pilots and women transport pilots. Many scenes of planes flying.

Terminator 2 8.5/10

Haven't watched this for a while and now consider it the best of the franchise. Some great one liners from Arnie, ground breaking special effects for it's time and some excellent action scenes. And Linda Hamilton looking like a crazy woman in every scene.

Julian Dennison was a hard watch and out of place and the jokes just seemed to pushed and rehashed from the first.
Didn't get many laughs out of me there were plenty more laughs had in Avengers 2 which was great.

We had 2.5 hours free so we went to a movie that finished within two hours: Zama. A movie about one man's descent into futility. See the trailer.

I was fascinated by it but it was one woman's descent into boredom for my wife.

Wonder if all the hate for DP2 was the Kiwi connection...

Went and bought it on Play movies, and then ordered the UHD set.

Last night I stumbled across a film on TV2 that made me wonder if the chief censor has had a stroke. It was on around 11 pm, supposedly after the kiddie hour, but not all that far out of reach for older kiddies or seniors waking up in their TV chair.

How to describe it? I guess a food orgy comes closest, except the food was having a no-holds-barred, anything-goes, stick-it-wherever-you-can sex orgy, straight, gay, bi, all together, complete with verbalisations that would even make Trump blush. No words were spared our tender ears, and there were plenty that would have had the voicers banned from sites like this one many times over. I literally could not believe what I was hearing.

And then the wiener jokes! Hard to avoid when the main character is a wiener, complete with the most bizarre masturbation scene any diseased mind has ever come up with. Naturally this masterpiece of culinary anthrometaphoramorphosism has the ejaculate of someone like Seth Rogen all over it.

I honestly don’t know what to make of this film. The animation was pretty good but the content was utterly depraved. I didn’t see all of it (thank goodness) but I did come in where a human character apparently acquired the ability to see the food as more than only food after shooting up with bath salts! How uplifting can you get?

Maybe the film was funny. Maybe it was even brilliant. Personally I doubt it, but some might see it that way. In any case, it left me with very mixed feelings. Positive, that our pokey little parochial backwater of a country has the balls to screen something like this on public television just after prime time, retching that it had to be such a vile exhibition of self-indulgent unbridled excess. I am against censorship of all kinds, but surely there is a middle ground here?

For those who must know, this sex and food smorgasbord was called ‘Sausage Party’. Yuk.

It was ok until the last 20 minutes, then it was absoloutely foul, and I consider myself pretty open minded. I actually felt I'll.

Watched bad words over the weekend.

2013 movie starring Jason Bateman (also his directorial debut)

About a foul mouthed 40 year old who finds a loophole to enter a spelling bee contest.

Never heard of it but stumbled across it by accident .

Had its moments but overall nothing special

6.5/10
