freitasm: That mission statement makes no sense: "[and] help prevent the inadvertent negative impact to human, plant and animal life if we reduce CO2".

I guess what they are trying to say is that levels of CO2 are vital, and they are right. With reduction in CO2 levels there will be a tipping point where CO2 levels get too low and viability of vegetation is at risk.

However I really do not see that happening but  in theory it is possible.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

... a series of UFO sightings in New Plymouth on Saturday night.

Yesterday the Daily News received several reports of strange lights in the sky at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

One reader, who did not wish to be named, said a set of six bright red lights were seen travelling from the east before turning and disappearing in the north.

"At first there were three lights travelling in a triangle formation and then three more followed," said the man."

Yes, unidentified being the keyword here - but not out of this world... I like how they were in a "formation".

UFOs over New Plymouth on Saturday night.

Enough said.

If you had travelled for hundreds of light years accross the void of space-time, I don't think I'd make New Plymouth my 'must visit' place to be...

Yes, but it is not what the witness thought first. They were probably running for the hills...

I like your new signature, particularly this part: "It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day".

Einstein was especially good at that part.

Interesting statistic you've produced there, could you point out the 2% that's not rubbish...?

Mindyou, I always sort of did like the Borg, think of the utility. If I get a neuro implant, can I get lasers too? What OS will I be running with the neuro implant? I'm kind of a fan of Linux personally, and think that it would work well for this kind of embedded computing. Apple users would obviously need to run something that could run iTunes so they could get their updates. Incidentally, what is the upgrade path like? Is it modular? I mean, when I got my I9000 I was king of the hill, now all my mates have dualies and I am #Loosing, I would hate for something like this to happen with my neural hardware - "Oh, thats scott, he's only running 11.2 pfft....)
