A Star is Born.

I found myself focusing on Lady Gaga's contact lenses and a couple of light spots where the projection screen was damaged, so obviously I didn't buy into the film totally. It was a perfectly ok movie, but for me it fell short of the epic I was hoping for. Woman beside me cried up a storm during the final scene.

Halloween 1978.  First ever viewing.

Great score, great cinematography, awful acting, and not much by way of scares.  I described it as 75% nothing happens, and 25% some people get killed in easily avoidable circumstances.  I did enjoy it though, the character of Michael Myers is aesthetically chilling, as is the completely normal suburban setting.  Looking forward to seeing the latest one now that I'm "up-to-date" given the latest one retcons all the other sequels.

Errementari, Netflix... Interesting story, appropriate for the witch times of Halloween, a new version of The Smith and the Devil... 7/10

Watched Mama Mia Here we go again. sssssshhhhhh don't say it. no sush.

When my wife said she wanted to watch it I admit I groaned. However I actually found it entertaining and the singing was good, ok Pierce Brosnan is terrible but the others were good and Cher was great. At 72 Cher still has an awesome voice.

Dystopian cyberpunk action horror. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd give it a 9/10

I just saw V for Vendetta again last night on Prime. That film is chillingly prophetic, especially the bit about civil war in America. I can easily see its version of history coming true. That sure seems to be the direction things are moving.

I feel the same way about Children of Men, from the fugees storyline perspective.

Halloween (2018) - Was ok, gory as expected but as for actual "scare" factor, very little. Maybe Ive become desensitized to this stuff....... :)

6/10

Tag - Saw it on the plane. Very interesting concept. Enjoyed it, except felt the end was a little flat. 7/10

Jurassic World (I think that was it, the latest one) one of the best of the series, enjoyed it, 7/10
