We have 9 bottles of white wine, 1 bottle of red, 3 bottles of champagne, a bottle of Gin, Rum, Vodka, Congnac, Whiskey and Port. All unopened except the Cognac.

Don't keep the wine too long. Most wine is sold for immediate consumption and doesn't improve in the bottle. A few years ago a friend decided to clean out her cupboard and came to a holiday gathering with 24 bottles. 14 had already turned into urine samples bypassing the usual need to drink them first.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind.

The power of the sea. We are in the Coromandel with front row seats to the storm that everyone down here is talking about. The waves are the biggest I've ever seen in 40 years of visiting this area, absolutely awesome.

This outstandingly salty review. Even by Gamers Nexus standards it’s superbly negative.

Doesn't really make me smile, but nowhere else to put this musing.

The new aquatic park in Whangamata, formerly (a few days ago) the Whangamata Golf Club.

So much water.

reduction of heating costs at home by 28%,

reduction of petrol consumption by 49% (largely due to reduced necessities),

That's impressive. How if you don't mind me asking, did you do that?

Also, how did you measure? Year on Year utility bill comparison?

Getting finished faffing around in the garden literally minutes before it started bucketing down again and looks like there's no sign of stopping. If I'd delayed starting even by five minutes I wouldn't have been able to finish the job.

Nah. Linus and Jay are very negative but Steve has extra sodium chloride.

Yeah it’s a fun review. He pretty much gave up half way through and spent the rest of it (deservedly) abusing Nvidia in the most sarcastic way possible.

GPU prices are what they are but Nvidia deserve every piece of hate they get for their 4080 12GB and 3060 8GB nonsense.

The review was OK but he spent a lot of time at the start talking about the fact they were originally going to make it the 4080. Seemed a bit pointless since they actually didn't. Surely, just deal with what you got and judge that.

I totally disagree. That crap isn’t a one off thing and Nvidia are still at it with the “3060” 8GB
