Audiophiles. At first I thought this was a joke, but then I remembered Linus Tech Tips recently did a video on a switch that claimed to improve audio quality.

Naah, you can't create anything so ridiculous that golden-ears types won't go nuts over it, and more importantly spend a fortune on it. This is still the unbeaten masterpiece of audio woo-woo reviews, with nearly 9,000 helpful upvotes.

Its so it looks pretty, just like the stupid braiding that gets added to HDMI and speaker cables making them even harder to work with.
