I had a call from post haste that they cant deliver to PO boxes so wanted my physical address. The parcel was outside when I left home this morning but no chance to look at it yet. Seemed to just be a normal big white bag with lots of smaller bags inside it so no idea why it got moved over to post haste from Singapore post, and why they couldn't see that it was a PO Box and that it wouldn't work.

Parcel tracking shows my stuff is still in China, although I got an email from Aramex earlier today saying my parcel from QUANTIUM SOLUTIONS (AU) LTD (???) is with the courier.

That's exactly what I had recently too and it was delivered promptly.

No way I'm ordering this but it's 1kg of The Product You Need.  I'm sure that would get no interest whatsoever from Customs.

I just had a couple of NanoKVMs show up. I got in early so they were pretty cheap. I'm looking forward to having a play.

What did you pay before Jeff Gerling did the video? I added to cart because it was obviously an ok price before the video and other interest in it, not so much now.

Ordered some CCTV 12V 5A power supplies from AliExpress on the 19th (Not even a week ago),

they have already been delivered!!!!!!! Wow, not even a week!

Ordered some on TradeMe on the same day, in case it took a while for the AliExpress ones to arrive.

The TradeMe ones arrived from Auckland yesterday.

Mmmm aliexpress power supplies. Virtually guaranteed disappointments.

I get meanwells from element14 for things that I need to actually hit the ratings on the side of it.

This needs more than just a +1, I always toss out power supplies included in orders from Ali, usually after cracking them open to see how bad they are, you're playing electrical-fire roulette with a lot of them.

You can also get Meanwells from your nearest Jaycar if you're in a hurry and don't mind paying a bit more.

There's a huge number of PiKVM clones on Aliexpress and other online stores, you don't necessarily need to get the NanoKVM.  I got the BliKVM (which at least is backed by a proper company with its own web site rather than being sold through Store136259), you just add your own Pi CM4 and you're done.  It's incredibly useful since I don't need to haul a bunch of gear out to wherever the device I need to diagnose is.

The big appeal of these things are they are so cheap you can economically have one per server. That and they are extremely small and do what they say on the tin.

I really should have bought a couple more as spares.

This line splitter for current clamps:

Annoyingly, it's about 5mm too big for the one that attaches to the scope, although it's fine for clamp meters.

dcsharp: 5700x3d aliexpress special.

You paid several hundred dollars to some random crapvendor for something from God-knows-what source?
