Some people have spent too much time watching legal dramas to have any concept of reality.

I hope this muppet gets hit with the banks real and actual costs for his moronic lawsuit.

The High Court struck out his claim, and found McKenzie’s argument so frivolous that it didn’t even require a response from the bank.

Court costs are probably higher than ASB's costs.

But the real question still remains... where is the $18?

Got put through to a company’s IT department for an issue they’ve got that’s affecting us.  It was all for nothing - didn’t even know what Cisco is.

We used to love Peanut Butter, with chia seeds but these seem to be no longer available in the Pams brand we used to buy.

So looked up alternatives and found

Make your own by stirring in a couple tablespoons of chia seeds into a jar of peanut butter?

Is that reflected by other sources? Seems to be a clickbait article TBH.

Note from what I can find, this is based on Toyota's from Europe (CVE-2023-29389). NZ/Aus Toyotas may be different.

I believe this is a physical / local attack. An attacker gains physical access to wiring often via the headlight connector after removing trim.

Security researchers documented a CAN-bus injection attack. It talks about injecting forged data that some ECUs will trust. In Europe that technique was used to steal certain vehicles in 2022–2023.

I'd suggest ask your local Toyota dealership, They'll need your specific model/year. Give them the VIN so they can check if your exact build is affected by anything.

Ask if in general if there have been any service bulletins or mitigations. Ask specifically regarding CAN message trust or key validation over CAN

I used to find it absurd when movies would play more than a couple of logos at the start (i.e. more than just the distribution and production companies).

The Blu-ray of "Flow" opens with eighteen logos, totalling 121 seconds.

I'm sure you get reaction from corporations with copyrighted characters making comments like this: “Oh, that’s adorable—billion-dollar IPs don’t beg to be included. They license inclusion, with invoices attached.”

Not to discuss the pros or cons of name suppression. But I just find humourous that "Well Known New Zealander" is again in the headlines.

New Zealander, first names Well Known, is a repeat offender. We don't quite know their gender as it appears sometimes goes one way or another. And certainly don't know specifics about age or where they live because it seems Well Know New Zealander is always on the move.
