Watchmen - Friend described it as a "superhero drama" not an action flick - he was right - I enjoyed it though :) 8/10

The Uninvited - more thriller than horror, seemed predictable until the end when youre thrown a curveball ;) 7/10

Wolverine - Fills in the gaps etc I guess - 6.5/10

The Boat That Rocked - Bill Nighy A++, but overall not up to the same standard as Love Actually et al by the same guys.

We just watched The Boat that Rocked. I give it 9/10. It's rock'n'roll!

Very good, fun like most British comedy, lots of bad words. Same director as Love Actually.

Saw Inglorious Basterds last night - highly enjoyable! Typical Tarantino movie with great soundtrack too. I'd happily give it 9.5/10

BACKED!

Really, really great one! Awesome music!... really funny all the way through - serious, yet light-hearted.. I even clapped a bit at the end!

Saw it and enjoyed it ! Thought it was pretty ironic being set in South Africa.

The time traveller's wife

Great movie, a love story about a time traveler so i was waiting for the drama crap to come along yet no where as what i dreaded. The husband is born with a gene that enables him to time travel "randomly!"
Complications set in where their love is tested (I apologize for turning Emo). Anyways, with these time traveling movies i always have to watch more than once to understand them fully - Primer movie was another. So if your like me be warned you might have to see it more than once.

As Jake the muss would say: A good movie to sit down with the missus after shes cooked you some eggs! :D

For those who don't read IMDB:

"All the shacks in District 9 were actual shacks that exist in a section of Johannesburg [...] The only shack that was created solely for filming was Christopher Johnson's shack.
