I'd go along with that assessment too. Lyonrouge has pretty calmly outlined his first-hand experience and you've jumped in all guns blazing. His experience is what it is and he's well entitled to convey it.
As he has pointed out himself, not everything is well with the world and the financial setup currently in play. Thing is though, most of us fail to make the link to how exactly camping out in a park, making a mess of it and preventing others from using the public space is going to change the very problems you have identified. It's good to see people prepared to speak up, but it seems rather misguided to honestly believe this method of protest is going to progress your cause. With all due respect, I think you'd need to visit the PR component and have a quite word to them about where exactly this is going and how it's going to achieve your desired aims and outcomes....
