I watched 2 seasons of breaking bad hoping it would get better but it's just not my cup of tea. Life is too short to watch TV you don't vibe with. Sopranos and the wire were the same.

Horses for courses I guess. I rated The Wire far, far beyond anything, and I mean anything else on TV, but I know it's not for everyone. Deadwood came pretty close though, but I never really gelled with Sopranos.

Subtitles.

Once you're done with that show, I recommend you try The Sopranos

I was/am a massive fan of The Sopranos. I have the boxed set and have watched it multiple times.

Hard to believe it first aired more than 26 years ago.

Started watching Breaking Bad.
I reckon that's a show that's going to really catch on.
I'm up to the 3rd episode of season 2.

I won't say any more as I don't want to give away the plot...spoilers and all that.

Hehe - I will just add, better late than never.

And you have the netflix movie to add on , for a cherry on top.

Enjoy !

Oh yeah...El Camino. I'd forgotten that was part of it.
Far out...I'll be watching TV full time at this rate

El Camino was an interesting little coda, but completely unnecessary after what was a near perfect series finale.

In more modern viewing - I have recently watched the first half of the latest season of Wednesday
I'm not sure where Netflix got the idea that splitting a short series in half and showing one half a few weeks before the other was what people wanted.

I'm unsure whether I actually like this season. It's a lot darker in tone - with a lot less of the comedic sauce that made the first season so good.

Whilst it is a bit darker, I've probably laughed more this time round. Perhaps that says something about my sense of humour.

I hate the split season nonsense too.

Speaking of nonsense

Alien: Earth first 2 episodes

What a load of bollocks

Poor story, subpar acting

It didn't even look or sound good  - off Disney +

1/10

Funny you should say that - I actually quite enjoyed it...felt like it'd come from the Alien novella world.
I have listened to a number of audio books in the Alien universe and this is a lot like that...which is perhaps why I am more forgiving.

Also enjoyed it. Much better than the previous 2 films so far.
